Playing in the mud was always so much fun when I was a kid! My sister, brother, and I could play for hours. Making little rivers, floating sticks, making dams, mud pies, etc. Usually it was closer to spring and all the runoff from the snowmelt would find its way to the driveway, which had a moderate slope, so it made for some great rivers.
Deb, this brings back wonderful memoreis form my childhood as well, thanks for sharing! Carl and I used to play in our driveway too. I remember standing out in a pouring rain, barefooted and jumping in the puddles. It was divine! I think I'd take a spring rain today.....it's blowing snow just outside my window. Brrr!
